♥♥♥ David Archuleta ♥♥♥

Since this post is about David Archuleta, I have a feelin it's gonna be long...

What's not to love about David? He is so dang adorable!! He recently released a new album titled "The Other Side of Down", and it is wicked awesome! His voice sounds so much more mature in every song he sings on the album. And you can tell he had more say in the writing process, because the songs sound so much more natural for him. There's one song called "Complain", and I just simply cannot get enough of it! It's a very well written song, with a very good message. Part of the chorus goes "Cuz I don't always get everything I want, it doesn't turn out just the way I thought it all should be, baby I can't complain. No more wasting my time looking in the mirror, wishing my life was a little bit clearer, no way, baby I can't complain." And I think that boy is just the most wonderful role model a person could ever even dream of. He's so sweet, innocent, caring, and thoughtful and, in my opinion, really just the best role model in the history of role models! I don't understand why all these kids and teens these days are looking up to celebrities like Paris Hilton, Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Momsen. They are the exact opposite of what a real, true role model should be, whereas Archie is the perfect role model. Have I said that enough yet? Haha.
But back to his album. Just about every song on the album just has a really uplifting and positive message. Especially "Things Are Gonna Get Better". And the title track. But, as you would expect with a teenage pop album, there are a couple of break-up songs, "Stomping The Roses" and "Falling Stars". If you're a first time listener of the album, I recommend checkin out "Elevator". That song rocks! From the very first line, you can tell what the song is about; "I had a dream last night I didn't know which floor to get off on, hey yeah." It is simply about a dream he had the night before the writing session where this song was born. It's amazing how he can turn something so simple as a dream into a spectacularly wicked awesome song! That's just how talented he is :)
And even when you meet him in person, he is just as sweet as he is on TV and online. I've met him three times now, and every time he's been so polite and sweet to me and all the other fans. He really does care about and love his fans! Here's some pictures from the three times I've met him:

First time :) May 27th 2009 at a charity event :)
Second time :) This is from his concert on July 29th 2009 :) :)
Third time :) This is from a private concert on October 1st 2010 :) :) :)

And like I said, every time he was so sweet. It seems like he got sweeter and sweeter every time I've met him too haha.
I heard David say himself that he's going out on tour again to promote TOSOD, but here lately I've been hearing lots of rumors that there is no tour. That has to be a lie, because yesterday I read on Twitter where some big shot place (can't remember the name, sorry!) said that David would not be able to make an appearance at their event because he would be on tour in Asia! So at least we know for sure that he will be touring in Asia. But what about the USA? I as well as many many other ArchAngels want tour dates!!! Right now!! Please? Haha. So at least there's hope, we know that those rumors of no tour are completely FALSE!
And when it comes to dancing, we've all heard David say that he can't dance, that he's a horrible dancer. Well, we have video proof that he's lying! I know you've all seen the video from the Mentor's Gala where he and his mom Lupe' do a wonderful Salsa dance :) And if for some strange reason you haven't seen it, boy you sure are missin out on some major awesomeness! That boy has great rhythm, but I don't think he should swing his hips so much, he's gonna give us all a heart attack! I'm not gonna lie, (I'm actually proud to say this) I squealed my head off when I first saw it!! I hope we will see him on "Dancing With The Stars" soon, cause he certainly would win the competition hands down.
I think it is such a miracle that he is even able to sing now, considering he had vocal paralysis when he was 13. I guess that number really is unlucky, huh? I am so glad that God healed David so he could bless us with his amazing talent. My friend's say I have "ODD, Obsessive David Disorder", and I'm proud to admit it and own it! I will forever be a huge fan of David's, forever and always. His talent is just... undescribable!
David, I hope you know how much I, and all the other fans around the world, love you and support you, and I hope you never ever EVER change your sweet and caring ways as you grow, not only as person, but as a musician as well.
WE LOVE YOU DAVID JAMES ARCHULETA!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

General Hospital

Everyday since as far back as I can remember, my mom and I have always sat down at 3 PM every weekday to watch our favorite daytime soap opera "General Hospital". The storyline has always been pretty good, but here lately, I've been ready to pull my hair our before the hour is up! Ever since they brought back Brenda Barrett, the storyline has tanked. Everything is about Brenda! Brenda this and Brenda that. I thought when the killed off Emily Quartermaine that the show would progressively get better, and it did, for a short time. But now that Brenda is back, every single story on the show is about her!!! Why don't the writers consider this: NOT EVERYBODY LIKES THE SIMPERING, SELFISH, WHINY WITCH BRENDA BARRETT!!!!! I swear they need to just get rid of her and the show will be OK again!
Well, they should get rid of Liz Webber too, then it would be perfect. I mean everybody talks about Liz likes she's this little godly angel, when she's slept with half the men on the show! "Saint Elizabeth" needs a real good wake-up call, and a one way ticket to Hell to pay for all of her sins. She thinks that every guy she sleeps with should be hers forever and ever, but when they try to be with her, she's all "No, I don't want to be with you, I want to be an independent woman. I don't need you and your stupid stuff." And when said men get with another lady, she's all "No he's mine and always will be! We have a kid together so we have something special that you don't so back off my man!" She's absolutely ridiculous.
And then there's the whole Robin/Lisa/Patrick story, and it's getting really old really quick. Yes, we get it, Lisa's a psycho jealous ex, Patrick's a lying cheating dog for sleeping with her, Robin's a hurt angry wife/mother, but dang, after a while you'd think they'd do something new with the story. But noooooo they just keep going in circles with it! Lisa kidnapped and drugged Robin, and when she got caught, she was sent off to the Shadybrook mental institution for what we all thought would be a very long time. Two or three days later the psycho is back working at the hospital with Robin and Patrick! I wish they would give them more story other than Robin calling Lisa on her craziness, Lisa denying it all and making Robin look like the crazy one, and Patrick feeling like the biggest screw-up ever. It's makin me crazy just watching it!
I think the only stories I like on the show right now are the Ethan/Mya/Luke/Tracy story and the Ronan O'Reilly/"The Balkan" stories.
Let's start with the Ethan/Mya/Luke/Tracy story. I think it's kinda funny but sweet that Luke wants to win Tracy back after admitting they were never really married for the last five years and swindling $10 million from her, but his ways of doing so are very... interesting. Faking a massive heart attack to get her to admit she still loves him is a bit dramatic, but when dealing with Tracy, sometimes ya just gotta get dramatic to get through to her! His plan, right now, is working, since Mya is a nurse intern at GH, and Ethan is Luke "King of Con Artists" Spencer's son who is using this plan to get closer to Mya and help his Pop win back his lady. Ethan is playing the concerned son so he has to make sure Nurse Mya stays on top of his dad's condition so therefore he gets to spend tons and tons of time with her. It's a win-win situation. Unless Tracy finds out he's scamming her again just like he did with their "marriage", then Luke will probably wish he really was dead and not just faking being on his deathbed. His daughter Lulu calls Tracy the "Evil Step-Monster", and sometimes for good reason. Well Luke, I hope you are lucky enough to not get caught.
And speaking of lucky, Luke's other son, Lucky Spencer, is a cop, and he's working undercover as "Ronan O'Reilly" the ruthless Irish mobster that works for "The Balkan", a Russian mob king-pin. And you'll never guess what Ronan's current assignment is. He has to kidnap and successfully deliver to the Balkan, none other than Miss Princess Brenda Barrett. But, one of the Balkan's men overheard Lucky telling Jason Morgan (the local Port Charles mobster) about his undercover operation, and now his cover is blown! Lucky -- err, I mean Ronan -- has set up his first face-to-face meeting with the Balkan to deliver Brenda to him, only Jason's girlfriend, Sam McCall will be in Brenda's place since she has more experience in those types of situations. I really hope Brenda acts like her usual know-it-all self and runs into the meeting and gets herself killed, that way we never have to see her again!!
When she was first on the show, Brenda was really pretty. But then she went and had a face lift, and now her face is all ugly and stuff. And her voice is just like nails on a chalkboard! Ugh, so annoying!!!
Ok, I think this review is pretty much over. I think y'all get it now, the whole storyline of the show is completely screwed up all thanks to Brenda coming back.
Thanks so much for reading!! :) Talk to y'all later.

FIRST POST!

Heeeeey. This is my very first post! SWEET! So, I think my first post should be about... EVERYTHING! Haha. Well, right now I'm listening to the new David Archuleta CD, "The Other Side of Down", and I must say, it is a very very awesome CD. David has definitely grown up since his self-titled debut CD in 2008. He has such an extraordinary, captivating, & powerful voice that it just grabs you and pulls you into whatever song he's singing, whether it be one of his own, or a cover of another song. David has the power to make you feel the emotions in these songs, almost as though you wrote the songs yourself. He is an amazingly talented guy, and such a sweetheart too. I've never seen or heard of such a sweet, innocent, and caring 19 year old guy ever in my life. David is truly a rare, precious gem. And while we're talking about gems, have any of y'all reading this ever been gem panning? It's so much fun! My family and I used to drive up to the mountains when I was younger and stay all day at different gem mines and pan for gems together. I remember when I found a ruby once. It was awesome! Last year at this corn maze, my mom and I decided to try gem panning again, and I somehow managed to drop my gem swishing thingy in the water and lost all the gems and everything that was in it! I was soo mad, but luckily I already had a bag full of other gems. Ahh, I love corn mazes. Who knew you could have so much fun when you're lost in a corn field? Apparently somebody did, or else we wouldn't have these fun corn mazes to go to every fall! Speaking of fall, who likes pumpkin pie? I know I do! That's one of the things I look forward to the most when it comes to fall, pumpkin pies. I could eat a whole pumpkin pie by myself, but I don't think my family would like it if I didn't share with them, haha. Hmm, I wonder if Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson likes pumpkin pies? I should ask him when I interview him later on. He's doing a new movie, "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island", and I'm gonna see if I can score an interview with him! I'm pretty sure I can, I mean I'm a very charming person ;) haha. Ok, it looks like I gotta run. But I will be posting again soon, so stay tuned! And thanks for reading my blog :) Talk to y'all later.
